It seems as though we’ve moved to a one political party country. We have the democrats on the left and we have the republicans on the near left. Politicians seem to be more concerned with preserving their power and jobs than helping the people they are supposed to serve. The Republican Party seems to be leaderless, doesn’t seem to have anyone strong enough in a leadership position to lead the party back to the right where it belongs.
Our President and democratic house and senate insist on sending our country further and further to the left. Heading in this direction has proven throughout history to be a losing cause and probably the demise of our country as we know it.
I hope and pray that someone will emerge as a strong enough leader to lead this country back to the right where it belongs with smaller government, less taxes, less interference and a stronger military.
I did not know you had started this. I will be looking forward to where this goes.
The Republican party has been in th hands of the “moderates” for the last 10 years or so. It is this liberal light that has cot the party it’s base.
If the Republican party can get back to the core values of small unobtrusive government then it can and will regain prominence in Washington as well as the state capitals.
