Watch out God…they’re coming after you too!
Wonderful words: “Interfaith”, “Bridging Religions”, or are they? The Washington Times today has an article entitled, “Bridging Religions: ‘Challenge of the 21st Century”, and yesterday: “United States offers Europe an interfaith model” or on April 5: “Interfaith movement gains new strength”. All three articles are written by Julia Duin.
Well, as I read the articles, I googled the main actors and the main groups. How astounded I was to see that they all represent “social justice” and “human equality”. I was so very surprised to see that they are funded by The Henry Luce Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Sierra Club, the Open Society Institute’s Soros Foundations and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. (sarcasm intended.)
In the last article “Bridging Religions”, Ms. Duin praises the work of Rabbi Marc Schneider for his work. He is affiliated with FFEU, an orgainization in which Ken Sunshine is the Secretary/Director.
In the April 5 article, Ms. Duin states “In a world in which sectarian divisions fuel some of the more violent and dangerous confrontations…” This Interfaith movement is necessary, In that article, she also states that “the Obama White House identified it as a public policy goal and his Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships has in ‘interreligious dialogue and cooperation’ task force…” She states that leading Christians are on board, such as “Brian McLaren” of the Cedar Ridge Community Church -an ’emergent church’ (very scary guy…look him up). She quotes “Padraic O’Hare (lo0k him up too-he wrote “Religious Education for Social Justice”) and Patrick Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition (a “social justice” advocate…look him up too.
Ms. Duin quotes Rabbi Gerald Serotta as he stated how wonderful it was that “At the chant of the muezzin, Muslim and Jew alike dropped to their knees, then touched their heads to the floor in a form of prayer in mosques.” (Still worshiping idols, I guess.)
She states that Evangelical Christians, although more ‘resistant” are slowly climbing on the bandwagon, using Brian McLaren (a ‘social justice” dude) as evidence.
Remember the words of Jesus Christ to beware the false prophets. They are here and have powerful backers. Judge everything against the Word of God. Be alert to the signs of the times.
