One of my employers used this method very effectively.  He would observe a new employee, always looking for special traits.  Maybe they interacted with customers very well, maybe they liked paperwork, or charts, or speaking on the phone.  Maybe they showed a tendency toward organization even in the formation of items on their desk.  He would then move that person to a position suited to their personality.  Everyone was able to excel because they were doing what they loved to do.

  I have organized conferences and, once I have had volunteers in place to help, I always asked them what they liked to do.  Surprisingly, many responded that they had never been asked that before.  If they liked to cook, I gave them that responsibility; if talking with people-they would register guests.  Once they had their assignment and knew the goal, I left them alone.  Because it was what they loved…they did not need supervision, only encouragement.   Except for minimal oversight, I could concentrate on what I loved to do and, without exception, so could they and all went smoothly.

  I have also learned that too much micromanagement only discourages people from participating.   There is a fine line between leadership and domination.  A good leader or employer is one who takes the raw material, looks for the special qualities, and uses that to their advantage.

 The ship sails smoothly when each person loves what they do. Because they love it, they know how to do it   that way, everyone fits into their special and unique position, and the goals of the employer are not only met, but exceeded.  Those are the people who can be relied upon, be trusted, and will love coming to work every day.

One of the reasons funds may be low is that the Regular Republican Party is not hearing us either. 

I have been a registered, active, voting Republican for over thirty years.  I live in New Jersey.  Gov. Christie is the first conservative Republican that I can remember ever being in this State.  The Tea Parties are a reaction to the lack of conservative leadership in the Republican Party as well as the financial ruin being brought about by this administration.  To ignore them is much to your detriment. 

Hearing that the RNC will not back Ms. O’Donnell in the Delaware race is very upsetting.  It further proves the point that, again, you don’t hear us either.

 Being called the party of “no” is acceptable.  We want, need and expect you to say “NO” to the Obama administration’s “transformation” ideas.  But no one is standing up for an alternative plan; no one from this party is giving us a reason to vote “yes”.

 Here in New Jersey, once again, a RINO is running.  The only good thing I can see about Mr. Runyon is that he (hopefully) will vote with the Republicans, but even then, with what we have now it’s not much different than voting with Democrats.   Compromise and capitulation only keeps everything moving toward socialism.

 The Tea Parties have enough votes to have their choice win against the organized Republican machine.   If they can get their candidates as far as they have without your help, why do you think that with your help their candidate can’t win?  Their candidate already won!

 I have always been involved in the election process.  This year I can’t even bring myself to put a bumper sticker on my car.

 Gentlemen…I am ashamed.

            The 8/28/10 Glenn Beck Rally at the Lincoln Memorial was a tribute not only to our fallen soldiers, to honor those who give of themselves unselfishly to others, to honor our Country’s beloved Martin Luther King and his glorious “dream”, but to give the honor and glory to due our Creator.

            More than 700,000 patriots of all races and creeds, including my husband and myself, gathered together Saturday, and peacefully prayed, sang, applauded, and asked the God of this Nation to forgive our sins, to bring our country back and heal our land.

            At no time was it about politics, at no time was there any shouting, or anger, only a passion to return to sanity, a unified plea to Our Lord to bring us together, to restore honor, to restore faith, hope and charity. 

            I thank my God for using Glenn Beck to begin to turn our hearts back to Him.  That is the prophet’s only job.

            I pray that not only the reflecting pool reflects God’s face, but that the nation to whom He has given birth, for whom He is Lord, and to whom He looks upon with mercy, grace and love return to the foundations from which it was forged.

            There has never been a country like this one and only with God’s help can we remain a light to a fallen world.

            Thank you Glenn,  and thank you God.

I am a conservative Christian woman.  I understand that some people are in this country illegally, but I also understand that just because you look a certain way does not make you someone who is here illegally.  

I believe that our laws need to be enforced.  I am glad that Arizona had the courage to write their 16 page law mirroring the Federal Law to enable them to get a handle on the crime occurring  on their border.   Since everyone in this country has to show identification when asked by police, making that an issue is absurd. 

I am used to the left seeing racism everywhere because of  their elite intolerance and ability to only see  through their own blurred vision, but it upsets me to actually bump into it in my daily life.   

Let’s know the facts before we jump to conclusions.  Let’s not be like the political name callers who can’t think for themselves; there are enough of them already.

       Because the future of our country is at stake and the stakes are high, it is of the utmost importance that we remember to keep the dialogue intelligent and focused but polite and friendly. 

        Fortunately, there was no media present yesterday.    They would have found what they were seeking in a couple of participants who stoked their own fires with bigotry, racism, anger and frustration quite vociferously.   Since the media is looking for “bigots”, “racists”, “hate”, etc., it is imperative that we remain the standard for peaceful,  passionate political discourse.   

       Passions run high.   That is why most of us joined this movement.    Although we must not bow down to the idol of “political correctness”,  we can and should hold to common sense and polite confrontation while we  boldly stand for truth and logic .    We can only win this war if  we hold to a higher standard.   

       The wolves are out there, seeking someone to label in a negative way.  Only the truth will prevail, and truth with grace is how we win.

   Wonderful words:  “Interfaith”, “Bridging Religions”, or are they?  The Washington Times today has an article entitled, “Bridging Religions: ‘Challenge of the 21st Century”, and yesterday: “United States offers Europe an interfaith model” or on April 5:  “Interfaith movement gains new strength”.   All three articles are written by Julia Duin.

   Well, as I read the articles, I googled the main actors and the main groups.  How astounded I was to see that they all represent “social justice” and “human equality”.  I was so very surprised to see that they are funded by The Henry Luce Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Sierra Club, the Open Society Institute’s Soros Foundations and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.   (sarcasm intended.)

   In the last article “Bridging Religions”, Ms. Duin praises the work of Rabbi Marc Schneider for his work.  He is affiliated with FFEU, an orgainization in which Ken Sunshine is the Secretary/Director. 

   In the April 5 article, Ms. Duin states “In a world in which sectarian divisions fuel some of the more violent and dangerous confrontations…”  This Interfaith movement is necessary,  In that article, she also states that “the Obama White House identified it as a public policy goal and his Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships has in ‘interreligious dialogue and cooperation’ task force…”    She states that leading Christians are on board, such as “Brian McLaren”  of the Cedar Ridge Community Church -an ’emergent church’ (very scary guy…look him up).  She quotes “Padraic O’Hare  (lo0k him up too-he wrote “Religious Education for Social Justice”) and Patrick Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition (a “social justice” advocate…look him up too.

   Ms. Duin quotes Rabbi  Gerald Serotta as he stated how wonderful it was that  “At the chant of the muezzin, Muslim and Jew alike dropped to their knees, then touched their heads to the floor in a form of prayer in mosques.”  (Still worshiping idols, I guess.)

  She states that Evangelical Christians, although more ‘resistant” are slowly climbing on the bandwagon, using Brian McLaren (a ‘social justice” dude) as evidence. 

   Remember the words of Jesus Christ to beware the false prophets.   They are here and have powerful backers.   Judge everything against the Word of God.  Be alert to the signs of the times.

Every time I hear the word “worker” I cringe.  That is a communist term along with “comrade”.   If I am a “worker” because I am employed, then does that mean my employer does not work?   If my employer does not “work”, then how does he or she obtain the funds to compensate his or her “workers”.  Or are workers only blue collar union members?  Who are these “workers”?

I always thought I was an employee, someone hired by an employer to perform a certain task.  I thought the people in the USSR in their lovely, look-alike uniforms-Dr. Zavago style, were the “workers” and the upper class elite were the bad guys.  Of course, once those bad guys were eliminated, poverty could keep everyone on a level playing field.

Wait a minute!  Let me think about this:  If my husband hires someone to help him in his business, is he no longer a “worker”?  Great, maybe he should hire a “worker” of his own and he can just put his feet up and force his slave/worker to do everything!  Or better yet, get illegal aliens!  We can pay them pennies as they send their kids to our schools, as they get healthcare and we can live a life of liesure on their backs!  They can’t complain or we can threaten them with exposure!  No one in America wants to work anyway…Wow, I’m onto something I think!

We are being tricked by the Congress by the same ploy:  Public Option or no Public Option.  As we quibble about that, as we discuss that, as we are deluded to think that we have some control voicing our opinions, calling or emailing our representatives and Senators.  Putting our “foot down”!   However, the purpose of the ploy is to pass a sweeping healthcare plan as we happily put on our pajamas.

Our President and democratic house and senate insist on sending our country further and further to the left. Heading in this direction has proven throughout history to be a losing cause and probably the demise of our country as we know it.

I hope and pray that someone will emerge as a strong enough leader to lead this country back to the right where it belongs with smaller government, less taxes, less interference and a stronger military.
